Accommodation Tax

For stays from January 1st, 2018, the Greek government charges an overnight stay tax, which is to be paid by the guest in the hotel at the arrival, comparable to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is graduated from 0.50 euros/day - 4.00 euros/day and room.

Additional the Greek government charges from 2024 in a clima tax.
